Tom and Nancy spend as much time as they can on their half-acre corner lot. They have created outdoor rooms in various sections of their gardens; a dining area, a relaxing shade spot for the afternoon, a sunny pergola to sit and chat in, and gardens that can be enjoyed from their three season "garden room", glassed in for fall, winter and early spring then screened. From there, look for the shade garden; home to a soothing water feature. They have over seventy-four varieties of day lilies, many unusual irises, twelve varieties of lilacs and are growing their peony and hydrangea collections They use a unique numbering system and photo log to keep track of their lilies and many of their plants are also labeled. If you were to visit their "moon garden" of all white flowers, and adjacent moss garden you would be enthralled. You would then stop to admire their user friendly raised vegetable beds. Stroll along the stone walkways and you would be able to explore their triangle garden. Tom and Nancy completed the course requirements to be named "Master Gardeners", and are always willing to share their knowledge, as you will observe in this video.
