“The injuries I saw were absolutely shocking – I just felt I had to do something to help.” It was 2008 when Emma Willis first visited Headley Court with the intention of using her skills as an established high-end shirtmaker to provide soldiers returning from Afghanistan with bespoke clothing. Today, Emma’s charity – Style for Soldiers – continues to provide crucial support, not just with confidence-building suits, shirts and shoes but by hosting regular reunions that give injured veterans and their families the chance to get together and share experiences.
