HH the emir of Qatar 🇶🇦 Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani met with the Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany Bundeskanzler Olaf Scholz. The visiting German chancellor was accorded a warm reception at the Amiri Diwan. The two leaders held talks aimed at strengthening strategic relations in various fields between Qatar and Germany. They also discussed the most prominent regional and international developments and ways to support security and peace and end conflicts between countries through dialogue and diplomatic methods. After the bilateral talks the two leaders held a joint press conference at the Diwan. During joint press statements His Highness stressed that the State of Qatar is one of the largest investors in Germany, explaining that the Qatar Investment Authority continues to search for investment opportunities in Germany due to Qatar's great confidence.
