Celeste - Glyph D-Side Full Clear Golden

My mentality going into this was that I knew I had the skill to do it, but I didn't know if I had the patience. I never got burned out on this map and I had fun the whole time, and I knew it would just happen whenever it happened and I wasn't in a rush. I stayed away from stat tracking since I knew I could start to get burned out if I didn't get it "soon enough," so I really focused on managing my expectations. However as you can see I totaled 112 hours on the map and over 10k deaths, although speedrun tool is weird and stacked a bunch of deaths for me before I realized what it was doing and disabled that, so maybe I have more deaths than I rightfully earned. I got about 15 or so runs to void checkpoint, my latest PB was blue-2 which I had achieved an hour or so earlier, before that I had died twice to blue-1. I also had maybe 20 or so runs die in memories, that checkpoint turned out to not be that bad. This is certainly the hardest golden I've ever done, but I can't give any opinions on top golden list ranking because after so much practice it feels easy to me in a way and I have no experience with any other tier 1 maps. I think the idea that "this is one of the hardest goldens of all time" seems like a bit much, that's all I can say. Oh and the silvers are disabled by simply turning off CollabUtils2. I got a decent amount of strats from other people but also discovered a number of my own strats. Despite the map being pretty heavily decheesed (like there are absolutely no demos anywhere, ALL the spinners are pixel adjusted so the gaps are 3 pixels or less), I still found a bunch of great alternatives which could normalize or completely remove difficult sections. For example, the other goldeners found the skip at the end of the cold checkpoint, but I found the skip after the heat glyph. Like how did nobody else see that? There are lots of other notable strats I found like the dash through the gap in pink-4 in void checkpoint (actually not a meme/swag strat, it trades like 3 bad inputs for 1 which is actually decently ok), but I guess I'll let them speak for themselves in the video instead of listing them all out here like I'd do for a Kaze IL. First shoutouts of course to Egg, the first person and currently only other person to do this, thanks for paving the way and finding lots of great strats. Shoutouts also to azaaz and Lyly who have the any% golden. Shoutouts to all my viewers on Twitch, thanks so much for supporting me and keeping this fun while I grinded it. I'm not sure what my next Celeste project will be or if I even want one right now, because I do have plans to play other games for a little while. We'll see.
