This is the first episode in the History of the Russian Monarchy. In this episode we cover the time period from the founding of the Kievan Rus state all the way until Monomakh, which saw the slow downfall of the state and the invasion of the Mongol Empire. In later episodes we will explore further princes and kings in hopes of reaching all the way until the rise of the USSR.
