My new passion is creating futuristic environments with the help of AI. I like ambient music and I like futuristic cities, spaceships, alien landscapes and all that stuff. So why not combine the two? Background story for this track (ARTEFACT, new name THE PIAZZI-INCIDENT ): In 2034, the Piazzi probe crashed on its approach to Earth over North Africa. On board were rock samples that the probe had collected from an asteroid. The remains of the probe and the collected material were recovered, but apparently spores contained in the asteroid material were released on impact. Years after the "Piazzi incident", new, unknown life forms were discovered on Earth. These life forms could not be assigned to any known species on Earth. However, they appeared to be able to absorb and modify terrestrial genetic information and give rise to new forms. Initially, the infested areas were cordoned off, but the life forms spread faster and faster across the entire globe. Contact between humans and these life forms could no longer be prevented. All over the world, more and more people dared to come closer and closer to these life forms. The surprising thing was that everyone who spent a few minutes in the vicinity of these life forms spoke of a life-changing experience. Some compared these experiences to some kind of NDE or ayahuasca. These life forms seemed to emit something that had a positive effect on people's psyche. The more the reports about the positive influence of these beings on people accumulated, the more clearly a division in society became visible. On the one hand, there were those who were friendly towards these life forms, and on the other, opponents who saw these beings as nothing more than invaders who were trying to manipulate humans with the help of a kind of brainwashing. A neutral investigation of these beings was no longer possible, as one side immediately accused the other of exerting influence. An easing of tensions is not in sight. Which side would you be on?
