THE CITADEL is located 40 lightyears away on Trappist 1e in the Trappist solar system. The city's story takes place a couple of hundred years after the first Mars colonies have been established. The outpost has been founded on T1e due to its rich resources of liquid H2O. At the present time, humanity's main goal is spreading throughout the universe, hence the demand for energy is gargantuan. T1e with its vast oceans and low gravity fulfills the qualifications as a large scale interstellar transport hub and filling station for further expansion. For decades the tech and energy giant 'Wallace' has been producing drinking water and hydrogen for The Citadel and gained total control over the city. By now, the money-driven Wallace corporation represents the main power in the whole Trappist solar system and this has some pretty severe consequences for society...
