Each area has its own challenges and problems you will have to overcome. Whether it be hostile air, less sun or difficulty to grow food. As you go along each area will have its own goal to be able to complete such as building a history area. Your colonist will also have their own needs as well and to keep efficiency up you will need to keep their morale up by meeting their needs.
