3 D Technology using Structure Sensor and iPad
An instructional video, demonstrating the 3-D technology offered at OOLab. OOLab uses a Structure Sensor scanner, mounted on an iPad with the TechMed app. It is a fast, accurate and environmentally-friendly way to capture a 3-D image of the foot. Using this technology, practitioners are able to capture a subtalar joint neutral, negative image of the foot. It is the gold standard for both regulatory bodies, i.e. Colleges and the insurance industry. The accurate negative foot impression is a vital first step in the proper manufacturing of custom-made foot orthotics.
