"Hidden Treasures of a Long Lost Civilization" (Brutal Hideout) - Path of Exile
This is a hideout I have created for the Path of Exile Hideout Competition. If you're curious about the idea behind the hideout, here it is: "A few brave explorers started adventuring into the high gardens of Wraeclast. After a terrible storm unleashed upon them, they sought shelter in what seemed like a ruin. Little did they know, the Colossus that lay crumbled atop of the ruins, used to be alive once. It was protecting something. But what? As the adventurers were looking for a way in, they noticed a ladder leading underneath the ground. Crumbled as it was, it managed to lead them safely into the underground. But it wasn't all as easy as it sounds. They noticed (in time) the traps and ancient mechanisms, some still functioning to this day. Carefully, they avoided all of the traps (that some less fortunate temple robbers didn't notice) and were lead by their curiousness to discover all of the secrets of this ancient civilization. After passing passing all of the traps, they found another ladder that lead further down below. Lead by her ambition and bravery, The Cartographer, Zana, was first to set foot down below. She quickly called for the others as soon as she made it safe downstairs, only to make sure that she isn't hallucinating. To their astonishment, they saw something they couldn't believe possible. It was a room full of artifacts. And gold. And amulets. And everything needed to live a long and prosperous life for generations. They found the ancient writings, treasures and technology of the Vaal."
