Many times it happens that after you reinstall your windows 10, you don’t know what to do next. So Today, I will be going to let you know, What’s Next, after you reinstall your Windows 10 guys. In the end, I will also be showing which tweaks I use to increase the performance of my windows 10. So watch carefully guys. 1) First thing to do after fresh installation of your PC is, to install WINRAR, which is a data compression, encryption and archiving tool for Windows that opens RAR. This will be very useful to open many file extensions on your PC. 2) Antivirus – Install a good antivirus like Kaspersky free or Avira Free. It always recommended to buy an antivirus software to get its pro feature. But if you don’t use internet that much then free version will also work. 3) Graphics Drivers: Install Graphics drivers for your system. If you have NVidia Graphics card you shall install NVidia Drivers from www.nvidia.in website. a. If you have AMD Radeon Card then you can install the driver by visiting their website www.amd.com b. If your system has no Graphics Cards installed, if you have intel processor, install the drivers from their site c. If your system has no Graphics Cards installed, if you have AMD processor, install the drivers from their site Guys don’t worry, if you have problem finding out, what hardware you have, & what drivers you shall install for it. You can search it by Hardware Ids, you have to visit https://www.pcilookup.com/ 4) Audio Drivers: Install Audio Drivers for your system, it will help to detect your audio device capabilities on your system. Mostly you will be having “Realtek HD Audio” Sound drivers. You can always check the specification on your motherboard box or motherboard website by putting your motherboard model no. 5) Processor Chipset Drivers: It is recommended that you shall install right drivers based on type of your processor. If you have Intel based processor, visit their website and search processor by model no., similarly for AMD processors too 6) Wifi Drivers: It’s important that you install wifi drivers. To find the wifi drivers, use CD supplied by manufacturer. Always keep the copy of the CD on your hard disk. If you don’t have CD, you can search the drivers from their website 7) Keyboard Mouse Drivers, normally it is not required to install keyboard and mouse drivers but if you have gaming keyboard or mouse then its required to install the drivers and software. 8) Printer Drivers: Also install the printer drivers, if you have printer with you. Always keep backcopy on your hard disk, to become worry free of losing the CD. If you don’t have CD, then still you can download the drivers from the manufacturers website 9) Microphone drivers: If you have a microphone, it’s necessary to put drivers. So that the device works perfectly. 10) Essential Applications: a. Chrome Browser b. VLC player c. PDF Reader – Foxit Reader or Adobe Reader d. CCleaner free e. Malwarebytes free f. Defraggler g. Teracopy – Transfer Multiple files from one address to other, one after the other. This help to save your time 11) Other Settings, which I use to my system to increase its performance: a. Change your Power Scheme to Performance Mode b. Change your settings in privacy on windows 10 c. Increase Virtual RAM d. Take Windows Update, update brings new patches for your vulnerabilities in your system, that no hacker can sneak in. e. Always try to move your My Documents, My Music, Downloads, & other system created folders to other drive. As during system break down, you can directly format your system, without losing your personal data. f. Always take backup of your Browser Bookmark, losing your bookmarks could be painful, as you have to search again on the google
