Filtering MIDI in Apple's MainStage

If you’re having issues using your Jamstik Studio MIDI Guitar in MainStage, this video will walk through a couple of different ways to troubleshoot. Step-by-step instructions for MainStage: -First, select the MIDI track you’re using within MainStage. -Next, in the Instrument Channel Strip Inspector window, select MIDI Input. -You should now see ’11 (expression)’ under the Input Controller section. -Change the Output Controller from Unchanged to Filter. -Now, turn the expression toggle back up to 127. Hopefully that did the trick, but if you’re still having issues, you can also filter pitch bend by adding a new lane in the MIDI input window.  *We recommend making sure the Jamstik Studio is in tune before filtering pitch bend.
