iOS 10.3.1 Jailbreak - Saigon To Support iPhone 6 on 10.3.1 In The Future?
! Do NOT get overhyped, this is just a heads up so that people on iOS 10.3.1 won't update to iOS 11 thinking there will be no jailbreak. A few hours ago, a fellow redditor has discovered something very interesting in the source code of the #Saigon #Jailbreak website. On the compatibility list, apart from the devices shown on the site, there was also "iPhone 6 iOS 10.3.1 (not yet)", commented out so that it won't appear on the site. This hints to the fact that the developer may be planning to test this device on iOS 10.3.1 in the future. On the source code, there was also another interesting comment that wasn't showing on the site: "Partial kppless support" which also hints to the fact that Abraham Masri, the developer behind Saigon Jailbreak, may be working on these. These comments were removed from the website a few hours ago, so I guess they were not intended to be seen? But anyways, what is important is that iPhone 6S iOS 10.3.1 (not yet) still remains in the compatibility list which means that Abraham may be trying to add support for 10.3.1 firmware, at least in the future and at least for a few device. The conclusion, do not update if you're using iOS 10.3.1, there might still be chances for a jailbreak in the future although it doesn't look so. Updating now would result in iOS 11 being installed on your device, which has no publicly available exploits, therefore little to chances for a near future jailbreak.
