"A SECOND WIND: ART RESURRECTED" Jerry Wennstrom. A multimedia flyover featuring poet David Whyt

Multimedia video flyover of Jerry Wennstrom's coffee table book featuring poet David Whyte. "A Second Wind: Art Resurrected." This final version features readings by poets David Whyte and Judith Adams. The last minute additions to the book include a preface by storyteller Laura Simms, and a full page commentary, with poem "Sweet Darkness," by poet David Whyte (excerpted from a year 2000 forty-minute video of him extolling Jerry's life and art. The book and video feature stunning photographs by Andrew van Leeuwen and a foreword by Christopher Bache. The book is about the art and full creative journey of artist Jerry Wennstrom, (www.handsofalchemy.com) and includes the testimony and creative responses to Wennstrom's art by over 50 artists, authors and colleagues. The book takes us from his early creative years through to the destruction of his art in 1979 and features his return to art after 15 years which includes the latest, full-size wild and celebratory figurative sculptures. This "fly-over" video gives us a peek at the beautifully-designed pages done by managing editor, Carol Wright. She designed the book in the industry standard, Indesign program, which should make it easy for any publisher to take the high resolution files and images and create a beautifully finished book. However, should a publisher choose to redesign the book to their personal standard - that too would be an easy transition to make from Indesign. For seriously interested publishers, please contact Marilyn Strong at, soluna(at)whidbey(dot)com or phone 360-341-3382.
