This is a part for a major medical company. It is an absolutely perfect Swiss part. It starts life as 3/4" 304SS Bar, It is turned (in one pass) to 1/4" +.000"/-.002" x 5-3/4" long (any machinist knows how difficult this can be), The cutouts on the drum end are milled with a 3/8" Carbide EM, and it has a 1/16" roll pin installed (not on the machine).
