It was on sale! I always wanted a projection alarm clock and this one is totally run on batteries so it can be placed anywhere in the room and is not restricted to being near a hydro outlet. The clap to activate feature is nice. since I have located this across the room from our bed. When not activated to project the time and temperature on the ceiling it leaves the room nice and dark for sleeping. I like the fact that there are two alarms available as well.
