Palmira Angela De Gregorio - Funeral Service

The family of Palmira De Gregorio (nee) Cuglietta is heartbroken to announce her peaceful passing on February 15, 2022 in her 99th year where she was able to be at home with her loving family and where in her final moments she was surrounded by them. Palmira is survived by her children, Teresa (Mike) Bruni, Gino (Susan), Anna, Pino; brother, Orlando (Angela); daughters-in-law Ada and Maria; grandchildren, Angela, Gino, Antonello, Ivana, Danny, Teresa, Franco, Enzo, Marco, Stephany, Matteo, Alize, Leyla; eight great-grandchildren who were blessed to be part of her life. Predeceased by her parents, Luigi and Anna; the love of her life her husband, Francesco; her adored children, Francesco and Antonio; her siblings, Giovanni, Giuseppe, Rosaria and Maria. Palmira will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by her family, friends and the many people in her life who affectionately knew her as Nonna. Originally from Aiello, Calabro, Italy Palmira and her devoted husband lived in France until 1965. Palmira and Francesco, with their children, move and created a life in Canada. Public Visitation Friday, February 18, 2022 at 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. at Park Memorial, 9709 – 111 Avenue. Public Prayer Service Friday, February 18, 2022 at 8:00 p.m. at Park Memorial. A Funeral Mass will be at Santa Maria Goretti Roman Catholic Parish at 10:00 a.m, and entombment at Holy Cross Mausoleum will be held. Reverend Father George Puramadathil, CFIC officiating. PLEASE NOTE that the restrictions from Covid 19 have been removed by the Catholic Archdiocese of Edmonton with physical distancing still recommended. All are welcome to attend. Palmira was a member of Le Donne del Santo Rosario of Santa Maria Goretti Roman Catholic Parish. In lieu of flowers the family would be greatly appreciate donations to be made directly to the Parish.
