Under the QL's most recent operating system SMSQ/E (v3.16, VER$=HBA) I run QTop-Index, a benchmark suite I wrote way back in the 80s, performing the new PCW benchmarks (1986) aka c't Highlevel-benchmarks (1987). On this machine SMSQmulator achieves a QTop-Index of 31.351 (the original unexpanded Sinclair QL achieves 1.00). Keep in mind that the using the screencasting software CamStudio and the Windows Task-Manager alongside SMSQmulator and moving the Mouse is eating quite a bit of CPU power, so without that the QTop-Index would be even higher.
