One Minute Map Hack: How to Fix Overly-Busy Coastlines

Well, I mean, I'm sure these coastlines are lovely when you are cruising around in them in your yacht (I heard someone won an award for Norway's). But they sure do cause visual problems when rendering them on world maps! One Minute Map Hacks lob bits of maybe-helpful cartography tips over the wall. This one deals with complex coastlines that result in patches of distracting ink in small scale maps. Making the line weight thinner doesn't always help. So give this trick a go.
