China has recently become much more successful at breeding the Giant Pandas and sends them all over the world as a good-will or diplomatic gesture to other nations. They are shy solitary creatures who's evolutionary ancestory has become so closely tied to the bamboo plant that they now eat almost nothing else but its shoots and leaves, yet their stomachs are intended for meat eating. Consequently they have to eat vasts quantities of bamboo every day.They hide in the dense bamboo forests in inaccessable areas of China and hurry away if they hear any noise and thus were only heard of in the West as recently as 1869.
