When the Present Perfect is about a present result and change. (x Past Simple)

I've come or I came? I've had or I had? Present Perfect of Past Simple? What's the difference? Is there a difference? The Present Perfect has no exact equivalent in Portuguese (and in many other languages) and students usually find its different uses and nuances rather challenging.
