Maxon Cinema 4D Easy 3D Printing Unit Setup & Modeling Thickness with Cloth Surface Export STL

This video brings you insight on how you can set up Cinema 4D modeling environment for 3D printing. Video tech-tips on how you can change Cinema 4D default units to millimeters, how you can add thickness to polygons to make them water-tight or manifold with Cloth Engine , how Cinema 4D can detect problems with your model with its built-in Mesh-Checking feature and how you can export your model as a 3D-printer friendly STL file in correct scale and units. The Mesh-Checking feature in Cinema 4D helps you see problem areas in your model real time as you are modeling it. This saves lot of time since you don't have to wait till your 3D printer's slicer software to reveal bad normals, bad polygons, non-manifold cases of your model. This saves lot of design time. I tried my best to keep the model simple so that any person new to either Cinema 4D or 3D Printing can follow. I will soon release videos on more complex models with more tips and tricks, so make sure you SUBSCRIBE to my channel, like, comment and share to get weekly updates on new uploads. Leave your suggestions and comments below I will reply to each and every one of them. Note : TECH 101 is dedicated to host tips and tricks related to a broader area. Thank you! :) :)
