Canon 6D and Sigma 150 500mm APO DG OS
These pictures were taken with a Canon 6D and Sigma 150-500mm F5-6.3 APO DG OS zoom lens. Pictures are mostly birds and flying birds with a couple of pictures added of other creatures I passed along the way. The 6D is a great camera with a full frame sensor that allows you to zoom in on subjects during post processing without getting a lot of noise. The Sigma 150-500mm lens is a great lens for the money. Anyone, who either can't afford or justify a $10,000 lens for amateur photography, like me, should really enjoy this lens. I also use the Sigma 2X extender but you need a lot of light at 1,000mm and the shutter speed has to come down to accommodate the F-Stop limitation. For this reason, it is limited on moving subjects. It will also not autofocus most of the time because of the lack of light. Still a good, sharp lens as you can see.
