Professor Edmond Smyth, Consultant Microbiologist at Beaumont Hospital, Dublin and Associate Professor of Clinical Microbiology at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, spoke at a public meeting on bugs and antibiotics in the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland on 14th January 2014.
