Karen Crowther: Principles of QG: The Holographic Principle Abstract: Principles play various roles in theory construction and assessment in QG, and different approaches to QG utilise different principles in different ways. In the first part of the talk I introduce the idea of principles in QG, and in the second part of the talk, I explore the possible role of the holographic principle in the development of QG.
