I would still play it online all the time. So I wanted to share my love for it via a drum cover of one of my all time favorite tracks in the game, the boat chase, composed by the legendary Hans Zimmer. I went in without any preparation or practice prior to the recording session, which is actually what I prefer, because if you go in without having a clue what you want to play, then there's a high chance that you will play something out of the ordinary, that would result in sounding quite good. So I try to do that with every cover I go for. Makes it so much more challenging and fun for me, really. Besides, if it's a track with no existing drums on it, the risk of failing at covering it is quite low. What's important though is that you understand the composition of the soundtrack, so that whatever you decide to play over it, at least sounds fitting for the track. Anyway, hope you guys enjoy this epic theme of one of my favorite first person shooter games, composed by my favorite composer! Equipment I use: - A Nikon Coolpix P520 DSLR camera for the main perspective - A Nikon Coolpix S6900 camera for the side perspective - Sonor Force 2003 drum kit - Zildjian & Paiste cymbals - Remo drum heads - ProMark Shira Kashi Oak PW5BW drumsticks - Premiere Pro CS6 - Cubase or Ableton Live - Presonus Audiobox 1818VSL - Monster Energy drinks
