#assettocorsa #thrustmastertx A new car and a new track. This time I had more time to practice car/track combo - almost 1hr and consecutive 2 days, yay! :) I think that this fact is reflected in more consistency in laps. Celica is one of the hardest cars to drive in AC. There are many more cars with more power than Celica but their reactions are more predictable. Driving a quick 4WD is always tricky in real life. In simulator it's even more tricky. If anybody tried a quick 4WD (300hp+) in real life then you know what I am talking about. It can exhibit the worst characteristics of both worlds - RWD (oversteer) and FWD (understeer) but on the other hand it rewards you with phenomenal traction... more often making a difference on slippery surfaces :) and if you do all the moves and setups right :) Stock setup, I only changed final gear ratio to 'medium' position so it's better suited for this particular track. All electronic assists off. The only assist I tend to use is rev-match as I don't have a manual shifter. I sometimes use auto-clutch, too, due to the same reason. I usually run stock car setups (don't have time for testing and customisation). I can only invest 1hr/week on average to play sim-racing games. My goal is to have fun and make progress in sims. It's easier for me to drive cars very fast in real life because I have more feedback there. I very much rely on g-forces which you can't do at home sim rig. On my home simulation rig I can relate mainly to visuals and noises as wheel feedback is far from perfect. Due to lack of data (g-forces) the hardest things to do on my current rig are precise counter-steers (weight transitions), especially when car is driven on the edge, in a slide, beyond traction limits. Even though I am scarce on time, I am trying to do my best and hope you'll enjoy it! :) If you think that this footage is useless then give it a thumb down and do not subscribe :) Platform: Xbox One Game: Assetto Corsa Track: Red Bull Ring GP Car: Toyota Celica ST185 4WD Servo: Thrustmaster TX Wheel: Sparco R383 TV: Samsung Q6FN55
