Industrial 3D Model Integration for Production Purposes

Being able to transfer design and construction intents to other trades without any loss or misinterpretation remains a challenge around the industry, despite the humongous work performed by standardization organization. With its 10 000 plus projects a year, Canam Group identified the integration of those 3D models as an important source of waste. This presentation describes the various strategies used at Canam Group to industrialize the integration of client 3D models to quickly and seamlessly start working on the design and manufacturing of our various structural steel products.
