Joseph Neustadt & Annette Weinberg When the Germans arrived in Joseph’s hometown of Riga, Latvia in 1941 they killed approximately eight thousand Jews within a few days and sent another 30 thousand to the ghetto. His mother and sisters were sent to one camp, he along with his brother and father to another. His father, mother and sister were all killed in the camps.
