No Triangle Button Challenge — Part 14: Wendigo — Final Fantasy X

About part 14: This fight might have been faster if I'd just killed the other two party members and let Rikku do the fight alone. Not being able to press triangle to skip a character's turn means I actually have to waste time doing something every turn even if it's completely useless. ——— About the challenge: I had the idea of doing a No Menu challenge in a Final Fantasy game. I quickly realized it would probably be best to do it with a game where you don't need to open the menu to save, and I figured FFX would probably be the most interesting choice because of the sphere grid (as I won't be able to simply power level to get past a difficult boss). I then decided to expand it to a No Triangle Button challenge. It's almost the same thing, but banning a whole button just sounds more interesting, doesn't it? The challenge is basically a No Sphere Grid No Customization (NSGNC) challenge. It's not Initial Equipment (IE) because you can change equipment in battles (and shop menus when you buy a new piece of equipment). There's also a few more minor inconveniences I'll have to deal with: -Not being able to open the menu to heal between random encounters is probably gonna be somewhat annoying. -I won't be able to switch to manual mode in blitzball. (I don't plan to play a lot of blitzball, though.) -No defending in battle. (Simply switching to another character can instead be done by changing equipment.)
