It seems like as you go lower down the stack from Nvidia’s RTX 40 series, the cards become even more abhorrent and pointless. Leaked specs indicate that the RTX 4060 Ti won’t be noticeably faster than the previous gen RTX 3070 but will probably end up costing you around the same price. It’s decisions like these from Nvidia which is causing PC gamers to tune out from the hardware market. Combined with current economic climate and also how there aren’t any new revolutionary PC games coming out which incentivise PC gamers to upgrade, this is a lot more detrimental companies than it is for consumers.
