1987 Toyota Supra Turbo Sport Roof Nitrous

Stock bodied Gen III Supra with highly desirable 2JZ-GTE VVTi (post 2000 year) JDM Toyota Aristo engine. Iron block casting, solid deck, and seven main caps to prevent cam-shift. The lightweight alloy head and durable non-interference drivetrain, forged crank, square bore and stroke can bring this engine well into 1,000hp performance levels in mild tune. This engine was built with an 80mm+ ball bearing Garrett Turbo (spec’d to 1,200 hp), quick spool valve, electronic boost control, and Thermal Zero eternally wastegated T4 Lava Turbo Blanket. During the engine build, larger diameter head studs were fitted, bigger cams fitted, and the pent-roof four valve per-cylinder head was ported for better flow. On the bottom end, seven billet main caps were fitted, and a fully forged rotational assembly installed to ensure the engine would be both robust and capable of achieving the hp goals. A high-quality exhaust manifold, Tig welded intake manifold, Powerhouse Racing billet valve cover, and cam upgrade have also been installed. The engine is outfitted with LS1 HO MSD smart coil packs and MSD spark plug wires, braided lines, dual stage Nitrous Express injection, ML1 15600 purge valve, and CM Stage 1 Pro methanol water injection managed by a Coolingmist CMGS progressive injection controller. The engine was dyno tested June 3, 2016, at Speedfactory Racing, Tacoma, WA and installed in the car approximately 2019. . Additional mechanical details on the car include the installation of a twin disc clutch, heavy duty build out for the transmission, a specially built rear differential, and custom coil-over shocks with adjustable control arms. A Haltech Elite 1500 Standalone ECU has also been installed along with an E5 MS3Pro Ultimate ECU including wiring harness. Additional engine accessories include a Peterson Fluid Systems aluminum 12-port oil breather, Aeromotive A1000 fuel pump, GZ Motorsports Super Pro vacuum pump with control valve, Mishimoto Type 100 radiator with 10”, type 15 intercooler inlet/outlet pipes with 1200hp water lines and fittings, Bosch Cobra water pump, and Ice Box reservoir.
