Докладчик: Ильяс Байрамов Тема: Coalition formulation and Schelling Games Аннотация: The interaction between statistical physics and social sciences precedes the existence of statistical physics. Indeed, Maxwell was inspired to describe his distribution by a mathematical description of the French Revolution. Schelling has turned the collaboration in the opposite direction, introducing a model of segregation that bears a significant similarity to the discrete statistical models such as Ising model, describing phase transitions. From the mathematical side, the language of phase transitions is adequately described by the theory of (affine) connections, culminating in the geometrical Langlands program that is central to modern mathematics. These objects have also had their properties used in finance in the theory of arbitrage. We will explore the consequences of these modern concepts for economics.
