American Mistletoe Phoradendron leucarpum

Looks like: Leaves are thick,oval to obovate, and have a green to yellowish color.The stems are jointed and have a gray and hairy look and can grow to 24 inch. The berries are oval with a sticky residue with a white to pinkish color. Can be found on oak, sycamore, willow, poplar, ash, and walnut trees. Uses: Decoration at Holidays. Eclectic physicians used leaf preparations as an emetic and nerve tonic to treat epilepsy, convulsions, hysteria, delirium, nervous debility, heart problems, uterine bleeding, menstrual problems, and worms. American Indian groups used it for similar purposes and to induce abortion, for rheumatic pains, headache, toothache, lung problems, and general weakness.
