12V PSU too loud? Quick and easy fix*!
My Chinese 360W 12v 30A PSU was expected to be silent because it has a "thermostatically controlled fan" and I was using it to a fraction of its capacity. How wrong I was. That little fan is the loudest thing in the room! I'm not having that. A little research and I find Tech2C: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LNyZn... Thanks, Bud! This is my implementation of his research. I'm not impressed with my result to be honest. I've ordered a linear temperature regulated controller from China and when it arrives I'll swap this out for that. If you were to copy this, I'd suggest going a level up on your KSD9700 from 45°C to 50°C or maybe even a touch more. Better yet, wait for me to make the mistakes with this linear thermal control.
