Why I Started Teaching Robotics to African Kids | The Story of Fundi Bots

And while I've told the story of its origins dozens, if not hundreds of times, I wanted to edit a version specifically for my YouTube channel. It's a story of a significantly talented little boy searching for meaning in a world that didn't quite cater for people like him, and it's also the story of a young man finding purpose in transforming learning. But mostly, it's a story about hundreds of thousands of children in Africa whose lives will be transformed because of a team that's committed and dedicated to accelerating science learning in Africa. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Fundi Bots is a non-profit that promotes improved, practical science education in African schools and communities through the provision of hands-on skills and project-based training, with a strong focus on rural and underprivileged regions and a push for equitable inclusion for girls. We have worked with more than 10,000 students across 175 schools. In the next ten years, we want to reach one million students and expand our network to one thousand schools in Africa.
