Why do we keep electing these idiots? The Hammond city council has asked every city department to make cuts, but, when a council secretary is retiring and a proposal is made to not fill that position, all hell breaks loose. This happened at the 10/22/12 Hammond council meeting and was being broadcast live over the Internet, and is also available for on-demand replay over at www.gohammond.tv. Also on the agenda for that night was business for two new corporations coming to Hammond, one of them is a billion dollar company. Way to class it up for our newcomers guys!
