SC2K On Windows 3.1 (Time To Build The Pigeon's City)
This was the game that introduced me to SimCity. While the first SimCity game is a renowned classic, this was the game that introduced me to the series. Thus, I couldn't never get into the first one. With that mentioned, this is a very epic game, and it runs very well on DOSBox too! DOSBox is emulated a multimedia PC with a 486 processor, 16MB's of RAM, S3 Trio 32/64 SVGA Video Adapter along with the Creative Labs SoundBlaster 16. The version of Windows 3.1 running was restored from an IBM Aptiva Recovery Disk. Windows 3.1 is running at the screen resolution of 800 by 600, 256 color depth. What's not to like about this game, especially the Windows port. It makes use of the display resolution of whatever Windows is running at, along with its multimedia sound capabilities. There is just so many ways that one can go about in the city creation process. It's now time to build up the Pigeon Township! There will be plenty of buildings for our avian friends to crap on!
