[Traffic Cam & Scanner] Car fire right below traffic camera
Sometimes the traffic camera is in just the right place (although it's pointed the wrong way until 1:08). On February 19th, 2020, I recorded Seattle Fire crews responding to a car fire with a person possibly trapped inside. The call initially went out as a "Rescue Extrication" response, but once Engine 10 confirmed that no one was inside the vehicle, it was downgraded to just Engine 10 and Medic 1. The flames visible at 1:44 are a foreshadowing of things to come. At 3:01, the flames really kick off - it looks like maybe gasoline, based on the way the fire moves down the street with the water. Keep an eye out for the little group of flames headed toward Ladder 1.
