BenQ GS50 Portable Projector Review: Best In Class!
The BenQ GS50 is one of the first 1080p outdoor portable smart projectors' with 2.1CH extra bass Bluetooth speakers and IPX2 protection and delivers great movie night under the stars! I especially like the fact that you can also use them as a stand-alone Bluetooth speaker. The brightness is impressive for the size of the projector and HDR10 makes the content look amazing. The concerns that I had were regarding the noise, the battery life, portability and input lag. So far, I’ve been impressed by the amount of noise the fan is producing during a movie. Regarding battery life, the projector lasted 2 hours and 15 minutes while streaming a movie, so that’s about right to finish any movie before it runs out of juice. Just like the other models we’ve tested from BenQ, it comes with auto focus and keystoning, meaning you put it anywhere and automatically adjusts the image to be horizontal and in focus.
