UPDATE: AS OF 5 HOURS AGO, ESPN DEPORTES REPORTED THAT ORLANDO SALIDO IS INJURED AND MAY NOT BE FIGHTING LOMA ON AUGUST 5TH. ALSO AN OFFER HAS BEEN MADE TO SALIDO TO FIGHT GERVONTA DAVIS AT A LATER DATE. I AM STILL WAITING ON CONFIRMATION OF THIS NEWS. Vasyl Lomachenko will have an opportunity to get revenge for the blemish on his young record when he meets Orlando Salido in August. Many have Lomachenko ranked in the Top 3 P4P despite only being 8-1 mainly due to him being a 2x champ in two weight classes and because of his extraordinary athleticism and boxing abilities. Others feel that he needs to show that he can defeat the style that has beaten him either by defeating Salido in a rematch or by fighting and beating someone with a similar style before he can be considered that high on the P4P list. Either way you look at it, if he beats Salido in the rematch he will definitely have a case to be considered Top 5 P4P.
