Tribute to Anthony Bourdain, Take ‘Em Away by Old Crow Medicine Show

At 6am this morning, I got the news update on my phone about Anthony Bourdain. This one hit me right in the heart. So, I got up and recorded this song by Old Crow Medicine Show. It’s my tribute to him and what I can only imagine he must have been feeling. Life is down right painful sometimes. I damn sure have been there and some folks I’ve talked to today about this can agree. I won’t give a long winded speech about optimism and perseverance. But I will say, if you feel in any way like you can’t go on, please reach out to someone that loves you and have a conversation. Life is fucking hard sometimes but I promise you, tomorrow will be a little better. Eventually, the bad will run its course and you’ll see that you are a stronger human for having gone through it.
