PREVIOUSLY UNRELEASED: Ric Ocasek & Benjamin Orr: alternate version of "You're Always Brighter"

This recording is from a cassette of demos by Ric Ocasek and Benjamin Orr, circa 1974. I don't know exactly when or where it was recorded, or who the other musicians are. Obviously, this is neither Benjamin nor Ric on vocals. I've asked a few Boston music veterans if they can identify the voice, but no luck at this point. There is another version of "You're Always Brighter" out there that was recorded by Cap'n Swing in 1976. If you'd like to make a comparison, you can listen to it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ug5q8OfjRo4 This is track 4 of the 8 on the demo cassette. Ric and Ben photo credit: Glenn Evans This video is likely being uploaded as a supplement for an article I wrote about The Cars. Because the purpose is to non-commercially educate and offer a critical assessment, it is being uploaded under the terms of Fair Use. No copyright infringement intended.
