Size of isoelectronic species II Which is smaller in size? O2-, F-,Mg2+

This video explains comparing ionic radius in isoelectronic species. ISOELECTRONIC SPECIES A group of atom & ions of different atoms having same number of electrons but different magnitude of nuclear charge are called isoelectronic species.Example ; The sodium ion is isoelectronic with Fluoride ion IONIC RADIUS IN O2-, F- & Mg2+ All of them have same number of electrons & different nuclear charge, So these are isoelectronic species. For isoelectronic species, size is inversely proportional to atomic number. Since atomic number of Magnesium is larger, it has smaller ionic radius.
