3D Printing SpaceX Starship Prototype out of Wood PLA! | Let's 3Dprint something!

Here is a timelapse of the one week build I did for the Today In Space podcast. We have some rocket science to explain, and there's not better way to talk about rocket science than with scaled props! You can watch the full episode here to learn more about what SpaceX is up to with Starship (https://youtu.be/JRJDdOVmgbs) This model was 3D printed in Wood PLA, which is the first time I've actually been able to use this material to it's full capability. I wan amazed with how easy it was to work with after printing. It also stained really easily, I only used one coat and it was almost perfectly covered, and it even penetrated the surface a bit. I bonded it together using some super glue and used Plastic Wood filler to fill in any gaps or artifacts from 3D printing. All together a fun project and now I'm looking for the next reason to print something in Wood PLA! If you are interested in getting some yourself, here's an Affiliate link where you can buy on Amazon, and we get a little kickback for sending you through the link! https://amzn.to/30SGt8b Interested in getting something 3D printed or design?
