BSR701 Upstream Channel Bonding

Descripción: This self-study program explains upstream channel bonding and its implementation on the BSR 64000. Upstream channel bonding allows greater spectrum utilization to achieve subscriber upstream speeds of over 100 megabits per second. Upstream channel bonding topics include transmit channel set, multi-transmit channel mode, and continuous concatenation and fragmentation. Also covered are topics related to upstream partial service, configuring the BSR for upstream channel bonding, configuring ASPM for upstream partial service detection, configuring partial service triggers, and monitoring partial service. Objetivos Given a network design and system requirements, configure upstream channel bonding groups and enable upstream channel bonding. Using monitoring commands, verify the operational status of the cable modems: determine if the D3.0 modems are in bonding mode, partial service, or single-channel operations, and correct any problems. Audiencia This course is designed for CATV headend personnel, network engineers, and field personnel responsible for networks that provide high-speed, data-over-cable services. Prerequisites: Knowledge of or experience with the BSR I-CMTS and cable data networks.
