The Art of Warframe Book-- A Brief Picture Tour

Brief eight minute tour of the new Art of Warframe book (ISBN 978-1-7390498-0-5), from the video game Warframe, by Digital Extremes (DE). Disclaimer: This is not sponsored; I bought this for myself as an early Christmas gift. I also work at a library, so holding a physical book is lovely. Currently sold out (unknown if they'll do a second print edition), however, here is the official store link: https://store.warframe.com/products/the-art-of-warframe-concept-illustration-design The hardback cover is lightly flocked, and solid. Good binding, the spine is solid and well built, and it needs to be because the book is heavy and oversized. Picture quality is great, color is solid, I couldn't spot any printing errors, the pages are well cut, and there's no wasted space. DE deletes nothing, clearly, and for that I thank them. As a librarian and also an (mostly video game) art book collector, this is an excellent piece, and while the price tag is high, it's appropriate. Well made books with a small print run cost a lot of money, even in 2023. Caveat: this is not a normal book, and not just because of the price tag and relative rarity. Because of its size, casual handling will damage it much more quickly than a smaller hardback book. For example, Dark Soul Design Works books. The reason is its weight and size. There's only so much you can do with glue and paper. That said, I am very pleased. Thank you, DE!
