Age of Empires III | Act I Blood | The Ottoman Fort

EMA Game Town Gameplay / Walkthrough / Playthrough Age of Empires III | Act I Blood | The Ottoman Fort Cut Scene 5: The New World Lizzie is vanquished, so Morgan and his crew sail west and finally find the land of the Americas. Morgan warns them not to get too excited, because one never knows what they'll find there. Battle 4: The Ottoman Fort Ottoman? Uh oh. I wonder if Sahin is in the area. Yep, turns out he gets the first speaking role. He tells us (but not Morgan) that he's looking for the Lake of the Moon too, but only to keep the Circle of Ossus away from it. Morgan doesn't know this, so expect a fight. For now, you have time to get your colony established. Build the Town Center, and you'll finally be able to access the thing that makes Age of Empires III special. A new button will appear over your resources. Click it, and you'll get to see your home city. Select a resource you want it to ship, and it will appear by your Town Center. You have two choices for now: you can send 2 Settlers, or 300 food. In the opening seconds of the game, all you would spend food on is Settlers, so you may as well save a step and just get your Settlers sent. Note: if you send units, they will appear by your Town Center once the timer finishes. If you send resources, they will appear as boxes by the Town Center and must be collected by Settlers; they will not be added directly to your supply or anything. If you have any idle villagers, they'll immediately start collecting anything in the boxes. Otherwise, you'll have to pass the order to someone. With that done, keep producing Settlers, build a Barracks and Outpost, you know the drill. While your Settlers work, take Morgan and head south from your landing point. You'll find an outpost of natives, and Morgan will suggest we ally with them. Sounds good to me. Morgan can build a building called a Trading Post; place it directly next to the native village. (Settlers can do this too, but your Settlers are busy gathering resources at the moment. They shouldn't be on the front line anyway.) Once the Trading Post is built, you can click it to perform unit upgrades and produce special units from the natives. Here's the cool thing: any military unit made from these Trading Posts does NOT count on your population. All you're limited by is your resources and a possible build limit; you shouldn't go crazy making troops (especially because you need to save those resources for other things), but it's a good way to bolster your military when you have a surplus. Tiny pockets of Janissaries will occasionally pop up; sometimes they don't even fight. A bare army or even just your Outpost will provide plenty of defense. In the meantime, build your army up as you have before, and have Morgan explore to the northwest to find another native village. Once you set up your second Trading Post, you'll be cleared to attack the Ottoman Town Center, but don't do it quite yet. Take your army to the southeast of your Town Center, but follow the coast. You'll find an Ottoman Dock that you can destroy for some experience points. Once you do so, take your flagship and search the water for any fishing vessels; take 'em out, and you sabotage the Ottoman' ability to produce units. Now there's nothing to do but build up your army. Get an Artillery Foundry up so you can build some cannons. Once again, there are a ton of soldiers behind those walls, so you'll need a good 50 or more Crossbowmen and others to fight. In order to get all the soldiers you need, you'll probably need at least 15 Settlers working on food, and 10 or 15 working on wood. Once you destroy the Town Center, the Ottoman will run, and you'll take the win.
