Sonos & Synology NAS - Unable to Connect
A fix for connection problems between your Sonos system and a Synology NAS. After struggling to connect to the music library on my Synology DS220+ I thought I would make a quick video to possibly help others facing similar connection problems. NOTE: This video looks specifically at one problem. I'm sure there are many other reasons why a connection might fail but this worked for me. SOLUTION: Make sure your NAS is set to server SMB1. The out of box settings on my NAS had this set to serve SMB2 or newer.
