It is a remake of the 1996 title of the same name. While this version was simply titled Resident Evil, it is often known under Resident Evil: Remake to disambiguate it from the original title. In Japan, the remake's title is spelled as BIOHAZARD. The controls for Resident Evil on the Xbox 360, PS3, Xbox One, and PS4 have been updated. However, you may alter the controls back to the classic gaming-style found in the Gamecube remake version and original on the PS1. Take control of Jill Valentine or Chris Redfield as they embark a terrifying mission through the Spencer Mansion. Under the leadership of Albert Wesker, we find ourselves looking for any members on both the Bravo and Alpha team. Early on (Jill's game) we will be accompanied by Barry Burton. Tip: Hold left trigger if you hear a zombie moan/walking. Jill will automatically aim in the direction of the infected. Tip: Toasting the zombies on the ground prevents Crimson Beasts from rising. Tip: Do not waste your ammo and health items fighting the plant boss in the Residence area. Rather, head to the Aqua Ring area and go through the single door. Then, use the V-Jolt chemical.
